” And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts, and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:7

Peace is a word that I have come to love so much. When I hear it or say it, I feel a soothing rush come over me. I seek peace daily. It is essential with the world that surrounds us. However, we have to make sure we are seeking peace from the right places. Philippians 4:7 states,” And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Even amid calamity that attacks your heart and mind, God says He will guard those places. All of those attacks that are trying to weaken you will prove to be invalid. To receive that security, you have to seek God and accept this powerful peace that he offers us. We can seek God through spending alone time with Him. Just start by having a conversation with Him like He is a friend, which He is our friend, and so much more. We can also meditate on the words from the Bible. In these words, we can see the power of God and get a guide on how to receive all that He has for us.

The Bible says that the peace of God transcends all understanding. A lot of times, we don’t accept God because we think he doesn’t understand. However, half of the time, we don’t understand. We believe some of the problems we are having are superficial; however, they are usually stemming from deep roots and generational issues. However, God not only understands this, but He knows what you need to break those chains that are trying to hold you in torment. I encourage you to seek the peace that only God can give, the peace that heals, protects, and grows.
